Augusta

Miss Augusta was born 6/29/23. We believe her to be a chihuahua mix. She is around 15 pounds at her ideal adult weight. Her coat is short with beautiful speckling throughout her white and tan markings. She is still learning the ropes of potty training and is currently in the process of crate training. She will need a determined adopter to show her what is expected of her in her new home. She would do fine with other cats and dogs and children who respect her boundaries. A fenced in back yard (no electric fencing or doggie doors) will be necessary. She is a very sweet puppy who is loving and playful. She is a ball of energy but has periods of quietness where she likes to be held and snuggled. Augusta was born blind, this will not change. She does not know she has a disability. Puppies born blind find their way around by smells, vibration and repetition. She has been in several different foster homes/ environments and can navigate her way around just fine. Augusta does like to stay right up under your feet so please keep in mind she can and will be a potential trip hazard.
