August is a sweet boy who does not deserve the hand he has been dealt. At just 2 years old, this boy has been turned in by his previous owners on 8/2/24 through no fault of his own. While playing with a smaller dog in the home, the smaller dog got hurt, and the owners didn't want to risk it happening again. As a result, August ended up at shelter. He is now scared and confused but remains very sweet and loving. August is a neutered male, weighs 64 pounds, and is up to date on all his vaccinations. He is microchipped and will be heart worm tested before adoption. He knows basic commands like "sit." August is said to be good with kids, dogs, and cats, and he is house-trained.
