Auggie Doggie was rescued from a backyard breeder who breeds dogs indiscriminately. His mother was a small chihuahua, but have no idea what the father was...we do know he was born 7/26/09 and now weighs only 4 lbs. He should mature well under 10 lbs as an adult. Auggie is great with other dogs and cats...friendly and happy little guy who loves attention! He will make an excellent family companion. WHAT MUST I DO TO ADOPT?
All adoptions begin with completing the online application found at: www.canineshelterrescue.org Vet, personal, and groomer (if applicable) references will be required and will be checked
WHAT IS THE ADOPTION FEE?
Adoption fees differ from dog to dog and are non-negotiable. We accept CASH ONLY. Fees cover the vet care, quality food, and medications necessary to care for the dog while in our foster home. We are volunteers - no paid employees here! Fees and donations are the only means to support our continuing rescue efforts.

DO YOU ADOPT OUT OF STATE?
Yes, when it is the best home for the dog. Transportation arrangements and costs are the responsibility of the adopter in addition to the adoption fee. PLEASE NOTE: WE WILL NOT TRANSPORT AIR FREIGHT PUPPIES YOUNGER THAN 6 MONTHS OR SMALLER THAN 8 LBS. YOU MUST PICK UP THESE PUPPIES.
