7 - 8 year old Auggie was retried by his previous owner and sent to die at the County shelter. He had a few medical issues, that have all now been resolved, and that would not have cost very much money. Truth is, he is getting older and probably didn't "hunt" as well as he once did. Well - as far as we're concerned, this old gent has earned his spot in front of someone's fireplace this winter, and his hunting days are over. This is an wonderful, sweet, gentle dog that gets along with every living thing.
