Dear Audrey is about 8 weeks old. Her mom was evidently a black Labrador and the dad was a shepherd mix.
When people don't spay or neuter their dogs, unplanned and unwanted litters are the result and Audrey and her litter mates are no different as they were all left at the animal shelter in a box.
Each dog in the litter had a birth defect and Audrey has deformed paws. She has extra toes on one foot and on the other foot, she has extra toes and a middle split of toes.
Her mobility is somewhat hampered, but it's hard to keep a good puppy down!
Her temperament is exemplary and she loves playing with other puppies and loves all people.
She may need surgery down the road, so she must go to a home that understands her needs and possible future challenges.
