This sweet, goof of a floof is Auhdi! He is a 1 ½-2-year-old Husky (neutered and current on shots) and we are truly having the hardest time figuring out how on earth such a good-natured, fun-loving pup came 30 minutes away from losing his life to shelter overcrowding. It is a good thing we and PackLyfe came in at just the right time because we are beyond thankful to have such an incredible foster friend and know he will bring SO much joy to his forever family! Are you wondering if Auhdi could be your life companion? Here is what he had to say… Dear future family, I am so full of love and excitement to meet you, I don’t know what to do with myself! But maybe you want to know more about me first. I LOVE to play and being outside is THE BEST! Water is the bomb! Plus, being pooped out feels really good. I think it would be SO amazing to have a fun-loving, energetic, playful husky companion who wants to share zoomie time with! I think that sometimes my energy can be a little much for a couple of the grumpy old guys here, but I will make them come around though… I know it! I am still learning my indoor manners (note to self – wrestling is an outside activity – arg, I keep forgetting!), but I try sooooooo hard to remember all the rules like “off” and “wait” and “sit” and “gentle” and I now know where I need to go to the bathroom! Yay!!! I love being with you so much, I get a little anxious when my most important people leave me, so maybe let’s do this slowly. I am not a fan of the heat, so mornings and evenings are my jam, but I LOVE to cool off with a dive bomb in the pool! Cannonball!!! Keeping my puppy mouth busy is the name of the game. Does it squeak? LOVE IT! Can I chew on it? SO there. Will it last? That’s another question, but I will let you know! It is so weird, there is something inside me that knows not to be too rambunctious with the kind friend next door. My foster mom says he is on palliative care. Maybe that is it, IDK. But with everyone else, it is party time! I am still working on keeping my energy from not bubbling over so I may accidentally play too hard with young humans. By the way… do you know Huskies very well? My foster mom says that this is a biggie. Maybe my first family just couldn’t appreciate my Husky amazingness, but I know I will melt your heart!
