My Story

Atticus and a Doberman were seen being thrown out of a moving van in Van Nuys about 5 weeks ago. The Doberman ran off, but Atticus hid fearfully behind a car until someone saw him and called Animal Control. Atticus was overlooked at the East Valley shelter as he was a bit timid. A wonderful woman rescued him as a foster – and now Atticus is looking for his forever home. Atticus is a pit bull mix, about two years old, weighing about 70 pounds. As you can see from the photo with his foster sister, he’s wonderful with other dogs – and even better with the cats. He walks well on a leash and is great in the car. He’s neutered, microchipped and has all of his shots. He’s super affectionate and loves to play with toys.
