My Story

Meet Atlas! This adorable lab mix has an approximate DOB of July 2022. He is a very sweet boy! He doesn't know his own strength but can be very easy to walk once away from the shelter. Shelter life is very tough for Atlas as he is over stimulated. He would do best with older kids (10+) simply due to his size and strength. He doesn’t realize he isn’t a little lap pup. Atlas has been around a small male dog and seems to be interested in female dogs while at the shelter. He likely would be OK with male dogs too but would require a meeting with any dog in the home. He is house broken. Atlas has a lot of energy and is not a couch potato. Once he burns his energy, he is very sweet and snuggly. No cats for this sweet boy! He likes to chase them. Due to this we would not suggest a home with birds or other small animals as well. If you are interested in Atlas, please fill out an application here: https://www.parkvilleshelter.com/adoption-application FOPAS is primarily run by volunteers who are passionate about animal welfare and are dedicated to our animals for their entire lives.
