You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Akka and his littermate Athena are a bonded pair. They must be adopted together. They are always together, and it is honestly the cutest thing watching them follow each other around. Athena is shy around new people and will make a lot of noise when a visitor comes around, but when we took him to an adoption event, she enjoyed saying hi to all the people who came to say hi to her. Like her brother, Athena does like to climb and perch on things, such as chairs, tables, and counters. Akka and Athena might be part cat!!! Speaking of cats, we aren't sure how they do with them, but they seem to do fine with children, although it might take them a bit to get used to very tiny people. Athena is crated trained (he shares a crate with Akka, naturally) and pee-pad trained and housebroken when kept on a schedule (so he's a dachshund). Athena doesn't mind other dogs, but prefers to only interact with Akka so far at his foster home, where they have been for a week.
The adoption fee will be $700 for the pair and they will be spayed and neutered before they are adopted, and will be current on all vaccinations.
