Aspen

Aspen is a sweet, gentle, petite puppy who just loves to be loved. She loves to cuddle and give kisses. She plays gently with her toys, but hasn’t quite grasped the concept of “fetching”. She would rather play with her toys AND her humans. If you throw a toy for her to fetch, she’ll just stay and wonder why you’d want her to run away from you. She loves other dogs, and plays nicely with them. She is unknown with cats at this point. She is small and does not jump up, so she’d do fine with kids of any age. But don’t make the mistake of underestimating her “puppyness”. Like any puppy, Aspen will chew on things if she gets bored or is unsupervised. She is learning to be crated when no one is home, and is mostly housebroken. Aspen is very polite and lady-like, but came into rescue knowing no basic commands. She is still learning the basics but loves to please so these will come quickly to her. In exchange for a soft place to sleep, plenty of exercise, good food and lots of belly rubs, Aspen will reward her new family with endless love, affection, loyalty and companionship.

All of our dogs are housebroken, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm and flea/tick prevention, and crate trained (or working on it!) They are living in homes with foster families, not in a shelter or kennel. We work in eastern PA, southern NJ, and parts of MD and DE depending on distance. We cannot adopt to people outside of that area.
