Asoka came to us from a commercial breeding operation where she had very little human socialization and as such, she can be shy and can startle easily. She has learned to trust her favorite volunteers and staff and has figured out the joys of going for a walk and enjoying the sunshine. She enjoys being pet by those close to her and has such a beautiful coat and gorgeous eyes.
She seems happy around other dogs but can get overwhelmed easily so a patient calmer resident dog would be best for her.
Asoka would love a home with someone who is patient and has some dog experience so they can let her slowly acclimate to all that is new to her in a home, in a neighborhood, etc. She would do best with older kids (12+) or adults in the home. She truly deserves to find a safe, loving forever home. Perhaps it is yours?
