My Story

Ashley is a great girl! She was an owner surrender because her family decided they could not give her the attention that she needed. She is a chocolate Labrador Retriever, Husky(?) mixed breed, so her fur is a little longer than a labrador’s. She is about 14 months old and weighs in at 60#. She came to us via Kentucky. She rode in the front seat of the vehicle all the way and was the perfect companion!

Ashley is good with other dogs, cats, and great with children. What more can you ask for? She will fit into any family with very little effort.

She is housetrained and crate trained. She has started her basic Obedience classes and will work for food!

Ashley deserves a home that will treat her like a member of the family forever and ever. Are you that home?

This dog's adoption fee is $265 (plus tax). This includes being spayed, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested (negative) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar, and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application. If you'd like to have an application emailed to you, just let us know. If you have questions about the dog, please call C.A.R.E.S. after 6:00 p.m. or email us. Sorry, but C.A.R.E.S. will NOT return long distance phone calls--our money is better spent on dog food............Thank you!
