Ashley

Say hello to Ashley! This sweet pup was born at the Stanislaus shelter, where her mama Starlight had been dumped just days before. We were hoping Starlight could wait just one more day and give birth under our care, not alone in the scary shelter in the middle of the night. But Starlight was such a tough mama, she gave birth to nine babies all by herself. She even greeted kennel workers the next day, happily showing off her new puppies. The whole family came to us the next day. Ashley is one of the more gentle and cuddly pups in the litter. She loves to sit in laps, be carried around, and nap with her people. Shes still a silly pup who loves to roughhouse and chase toys! Shes a perfect combination of fun and sweet. We think this litter are mixes of husky, Australian shepherd, and super mutt! Their dna test is at the lab, so we will know soon enough. Mama starlight is definitely a husky mix, and weighs about 40 pounds. We think the pups will be a similar size when full grown. As with all of our dogs, Pups Without Borders provides the first year of DAPP, Bordetella, rabies, microchip, spay/ neuter, etc.
