Asha - Located in Florida

After she was given a 72 hour deadline, Asha (formerly Shoshana) was pulled from an Orange County Florida shelter just hours before she would have been euthanized. Local volunteers and a medical foster stepped up to save her life. For her fresh start in life she will receive the new name of Asha. Found wandering the streets of Orlando, Asha had an embedded harness that caused her excruciating pain and severe wounds. The graphic photos of her injuries reveal the extreme suffering she has endured alone and without help. Asha will need many months of medical care. We will update more as she progresses and when she's available for adoption. All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and one-year subscription. The applicant must drive the remainder of the distance of the transport.
