Arya is 9 pounds of pure puppy love, and she is so grateful for her rescue from Swainsboro, Georgia. At three years old, shes ready to settle in and spend many happy years with her new family. Arya arrived at Home for Good as a tiny girl, but shes working hard on her weight gain now that she feels safe and protected. Her beautiful black and tan coat are a signature dachshund look that makes her simply irresistible. She can be a bit shy at first, but once she warms to you, she loves to snuggle and be close. Arya would be great for a home with cats, small dogs, and older children who are respectful of her boundaries. Because of Arya's more reserved nature, she would do best in a home with another canine pal *already present*. This tiny sweetheart is so ready for all the happiness and love you can give her.
