Arwen

Arwen is a beautiful 3 year old American Eskimo Dog, weighing 19#. She was surrendered to us locally with Champ and Stanley - who have already found their forever homes! Arwen is a timid girl until she gets to know you. With treats and sitting on the floor, it doesn’t take long, as she LOVES snacks! Once she is your girl, Arwen is all love and cuddles! She can’t get enough pets and snuggle time. She is a pretty calm girl and spends her days relaxing on the couch, a fuffy dog bed, or your lap - if you have the time. She will get playful with her person, but not the other dogs in her foster home. She exists with them and will lay with them, but isn’t interested in playing. She is starting to learn what toys are and chewed on a nylabone for a few minutes the other day. Arwen would prefer a calm, quiet home. She is a nervous nelly when new people visit and hides and barks. She isn’t aggressive. Arwen is crate trained and still working on house training. She knows what to do outside, but not how to ask to out. Arwen is spayed, current on vaccines and prevention, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $300. Adopters must live within 175 miles of the Quad Cities. All pets currently in the home must be routinely kept up to date on shots, prevention and fixed to be approved for adoption.
