Artemis arrived at our shelter as a stray, but she didn't know it! She was just excited to explore new places and meet new friends. Despite her beginnings, she's full of life and eager to find a loving home where she can continue her adventures. Personality: Curious Explorer: Artemis is always on the lookout for new adventures. Whether it's sniffing out a hidden toy or discovering a new path in the park, her inquisitive nature keeps her engaged and ready for fun. Playful and Energetic: Full of youthful energy, Artemis enjoys games like fetch and loves running around in open spaces. She's always up for a play session and will keep you entertained with her lively energy. Intelligent and Trainable: Artemis already knows commands like "sit" and "drop it," and she's quick to learn new tricks. She responds well to positive reinforcement and thrives on mental challenges. Ideal Home: - Children 12 and Older: Due to her high energy and playful nature, she's suited for a household with children aged 12 and up. - Active Lifestyle: She will thrive in a home where she can get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. A backyard or regular outdoor activities would be ideal for her. - No Cats, Please: Artemis has a strong prey drive and would do best in a home without cats. Important Notice: A "meet and greet" with any existing dogs in your home is required, supervised by our team in our play areas. We encourage bringing your family and current pets, especially if traveling from afar. Adoption Hours: Open daily at 12 PM, except Wednesdays. No appointment needed!
