DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Say Hi to Armando from South Carolina! He is a very shy, boy who will need some nurturing to bring him out of his shell. He likes his routine and he will need someone willing to work with him while he adjusts to his new environment, preferbly with a secure, very high fence. He would do best in a house with plenty of space and a yard. He can get really excited and jumpy when he plays, and would need a home that allows him to get out his energy and run around outside, but he is also a sweet boy who loves dogs his own size, and giving lots of snuggles and kisses. He loves car rides and is very adventurous when comfortable. He doesn't do perfectly well with all cats, and would need time to get to know them before being comfortable. loves being able to run around outside. He is longing for a home that can provide him with the socialization and real-world experience he needs to truly thrive. He is nervous around crates and unfamiliar doorways and will need someone with patience, understanding, and love so that he can blossom. Armando is not just a rescue dog, but a potential best friend, waiting for someone like you to help him navigate the world. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
