“He’s so darn cute and so well behaved!! He has a very friendly, loving disposition and is just the best dog ever!” reports handsome 4 year old, 85 pound Armand’s foster mom. When you meet “Mondo”, as his foster mom calls him, you’ll be captivated by his striking light eyes and adorable ears – a clue that there were some shenanigans afoot with the Lab side of his family.
You can quickly tell he’s been well loved and cared for by his happy, easy-going demeanor, exemplary manners and gorgeous shiny black coat. When circumstances changed for his growing family, they asked us to help find him just the right forever home.
Our very well-mannered boy is housetrained and can be left in the house without a worry when you’re away. He’s knows all his basic commands, plus several field hand signals. No doubt about it, he’s one smart cookie, who, by the way, loves a cookie when he arrives after you call him. A Gentle Leader is best for walks; sometimes in his delight to see you he needs a reminder about keeping “four-on-the-floor”.
While he loves to be with people, when outside he’s equally happy to do is own thing. He’s well socialized with other dogs and puts outings at the dog park high on his list of favorites. A recent hike with his foster mom, his foster brother and some friends was quite a hit too! A five foot fence in his forever home will be best for this curious, friendly and outgoing pup.
So well-mannered, loving, friendly, very fun and just a real character, “Mondo” is just about the perfect friend!
