The afternoon in the Humane Society bark park started off as many do with the canines quickly securing the playground arena and checking out the plethora of unknown but enticing scents. Then, as the mom and her pup encountered the doggy wading pool, the widescreen entertainment festival blossomed into a never-before-seen cinematic spectacular. 2-year-old Ariel and her Lil’ Mermaid pup converted the spray and the pool into a literal non-stop adventure of splashing, jumping, diving, gurgling, dogpaddling, snorkeling, plunging, submerging, and Olympic quality water sport cavorting. It was a hot day and the photographer’s perpetual smile expanded as he was awarded a continuous hose down of thankfully cool water, courtesy of Ariel and her aquatic pup. Ariel showed her true self as she and Lil’ Mermaid shared a continuous gulp of hose aquifer as Ariel held the spout perfectly still for her pup’s enjoyment. Ariel has a kind, gentle, and loving nature that extends from her pup to all the canines at the shelter and to all the humans that she meets. Ariel will share her heart-felt compassionate persona with each and every one in her life.
