My Story

I am in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, submit an adoption questionnaire by email. Learn more hereAriel is a sweet and friendly 4-year-old German Shepherd who's ready to brighten up your home with her charm and playful spirit. At a petite 44 lbs, she's the perfect size for cuddles and companionship. Why Ariel is a Great Addition to Your Family Affectionate and Goofy: Ariel adores making eye contact and soaking up all the love during butt scritches. If you give her a good scratch, you might even be treated to a tippy-tappy dance from her back legs! Crate and Potty Trained: She's a pro at both crate and potty training. While she might whine for 2-3 minutes initially, she settles down quickly. Well-Mannered: Ariel knows common commands like sit, come, and go to crate/home. She's eager to please and easy to train further. Playful and Cuddly: Ariel has a gentle, sweet nature and loves to show her happiness with a friendly wag and a joyful wiggle. She's a mix of maturity and playful energy. Dog-Friendly: Ariel gets along well with other dogs but should have a match in personality, as she can be pushy in play. She enjoys nose-to-nose sniffs and trots around the yard with her canine friends. Ideal Home Dog Companions: Ariel can thrive with appropriately matched gentle and social dog companions or as a solo dog with friendly dog pals. Attention-Loving: She loves being the center of attention and can adapt to various family dynamics, though she's not suited for homes with young children. Leash Training: Ariel pulls slightly on the leash but it's manageable with a bit of training. Additional Notes Ariel is generally goofy and cuddly, making her a delightful companion. She has been one of the easiest fosters the current family has had, and they're still learning more about her to provide updates. Ariel is ready to bring endless joy and companionship to her new family. If you're looking for a sweet, friendly, and easy-going dog with a touch of goofiness, Ariel might be the perfect match for you!
