Aria

Aria is a petite female husky, approximately two years old, weighing about 38 pounds. She came from a difficult situation where she was only 16 pounds when found. Despite her rough start, she is doing amazingly well. Due to her background, Aria needs to be fed separately from other dogs in the house. She is crate trained, housebroken, walks well on a leash, and rides well in a car. Aria loves to play and is very vocal and dramatic, but does not bark or whine unnecessarily. She gets along great with dogs her size and smaller, but she tends to play rough due to a lack of socialization as a puppy. However, she is making progress in this area. Aria has two foster sisters of the same size that she plays very well with, and one of them is blind, to whom Aria is very considerate. She also gets along with her two smaller foster brothers, being careful with them and respecting their boundaries. She enjoys the company of puppies, kids, and people in general. Aria is being trained not to jump on people when they enter the room, to sit, and to leave things when instructed. She is extremely smart and quick to learn.
