My Story

Meet this dapper Dude! Ari, says his foster Mom, is one happy pup! Sleeps in crate quietly thru the night. Knows his housetraining and is trying to do the best he can. Loves his toys, loves to eat and would love if his foster sibling dogs would play more! He is so into the kids and they adore him. Ari and his 4 siblings were surrendered into Freckles Foundation care and we found the best foster families to show them the world is really a nice place. They are loving soft beds and good food, clean water and loving laps. This big boy of 22 pounds is a mix of husky, lab, shepherd and dobie. Which means he will be smart , soft and super sweet. Foster mom said.. He is so calm and lovely. An easy boy who follows our directions and is learning also from our dogs. This is the perfect big family pup and would make a great new family member. He is what you are looking for..right? This dog's adoption fee is $400. ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs....all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many! Puppies require an adopter who is home a good part of the day to continue their training - no exceptions! They are up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines and preventatives and will need to be spayed/neutered at the age of 6 months. Please note, this pup's immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age and therefore, s/he is not suited for Apartment/Condo living or townhomes without a private fenced yard and will not be able to go to public places where s/he could possibly be exposed to the germs of unvaccinated dogs, such as PetSmart/PetCo and dog parks until s/he is 16 weeks old. Freckles Foundation & Animal Rescue cannot guarantee the exact age or breed of any animal in our care. The age and breed listed are based on information we may have been provided, and the appearance of the animal.
