SWM interested in the cuddly type ~ that’s me, Me, ME !!!
Hi, I’m Ari ~ a gentle soul who is grateful to the Hobbs Dogs Deserve Better representative for seeing my potential and making sure I had a chance to live “the good life” as a companion animal! She rescued me from years of abuse and being chained, so I’m making up on lost time being a pet instead of a possession.
I’m so happy with my new life of freedom that I “sing” and smile all the time ~ can you tell from the photos? I also love snuggling in the bed with my humans, going for walks, and riding in the car so I work very hard at being a true companion animal and friend in addition to representing myself as a sterling ambassador for the pit bull breed at all times. I also enjoy napping and playing with dog friends in the yard and I positively adore children! My foster mom always says I’m a dog that will steal your heart! If you’re ready to have the best dog you have ever meet in your life, then contact my friends to meet me in person!
Special Note:
Ari is considered a special needs adoption to ensure he is adopted into a home where he can live indoors all the time, aside from the necessary outdoor potty breaks, of course. Years of living chained out in the brutal NM sun resulted in continual sunburns and solar dermatitis around his eyes ~ poor baby. Though his eyes are now completely cleared up and healed (even better than in the photos provided), Ari must take one Vitamin A capsule daily, a routine he is happy to comply with since we hide it in his food ;-) He also had a tiny cancerous lesion surgically removed and will need to be with a family who will take the time to check his body for other lesions or bumps and take him to the vet for medical treatment as needed. An inside home is a MUST!
Vital stats:
Ari is a delightful 3 year old, pure bred, full grown 55 lb. neutered male American Pit Bull Terrier, who is up-to-date with all routine shots, preventatives and micro-chipped. Ari’s $150 adoption fee includes his spay, de-worming, heartworm test, complete vaccine series, first month of heartworm and Frontline preventatives, microchip and basic behavior training. Adoption applications may be submitted online, contact Mare at
