PLEASE NOTE! This is a special needs dog who has been previously neglected… we are looking for the perfect fit for him. Archie is the most handsome two and a half year old Aussie Doodle. He’s a very special guy, and is looking for his own very special home. He came into the rescue as a severely neglected and unsocialized young dog that was scared of his own shadow. Today, thanks so his amazing foster home.. he’s a happy, playful, bouncy Doodle that’s still learning is okay to relax and trust. ? This cuddle bug LOVES to play! He’s great with other dogs and older children. He’s sweet with little ones but does get excited and could easily knock a small child over. His ideal home will need be a calm, but active setting preferably with another playful dog. Also someone who is familiar with handling a timid dog.. he needs a lot of love and patience to help him heal completely. He’s potty trained, crate trained, and is learning to walk on a leash. The car is still a little scary at times so any potential adopter would need to come to his foster home in Lake Lure, NC for a meet and greet. This sweet boy has come SO FAR.. he’s such a special little gentleman with SO much love to give.
