Gus is a 2-3 yo neutered male Akbash or white Anatolian.
Gus is very mellow and friendly with people. He is very good with female dogs and likes cats, too, but is not good with other male dogs. Gus is an excellent watch dog, very alert and has a big booming bark. He is 29 inches at the shoulder and currently weighs 104 but still thin and could gain another 25 or 30 pounds and not be fat. He is learning basic commands and is totally housebroken and crate trained. He seems very happy to be indoors so it is not likely that he was ever used as a livestock guardian.
As you can see from the picture, he is not excited over horses and pretty much pays no attention to them.
Gus is currently in foster care in northwestern Arkansas.
