April - In Foster

Hi! I'm April! I'm an approximately 3 months old (as of 07/30/2024), female, Plott Hound/Mountain Cur who weighs about 10 Lbs. as of 07/31/24. I am being surrendered to the shelter by my finder in hopes of finding my furr ever home. I am sweet and affectionate and super loyal. I love people of all ages and get along well with dogs and cats. My foster mom says I am a very calm and smart little lady. I have learned to use the doggie door and pee pads and I love taking baths. I am currently in a foster home learning to become the best family pet I can be! If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. Since I am in foster, meet and greets will be scheduled by approved application only. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, and 1st set of basic puppy boosters. All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
