Hi! My name is April. I'm from Minnesota! I am a shepherd/lab mix born in rescue to momma Baby Cakes (Gabby) - I have 10 siblings! My foster family has two resident dogs and two kids (6 and 9) - I am well socialized through BB events and the neighbor kids. My momma doesn't tolerate rough play and my foster mom makes sure I have lots to play with/chew on. From her foster: Meet enchanting April! April is a delightful 2-month-old mixed-breed puppy that is equal parts play and snuggle. She was born in rescue to Baby Cakes, lovingly raised with her siblings and is now ready to find her forever home! April is a typical playful puppy and enjoys playing with her resident dogs, littermate and resident human siblings. While she loves to play, she also loves to chill. She has no problem slowing down and snuggling with her humans, or just finding a cozy, quiet spot in her kennel or under the table. She definitely seems to have an "old soul at times given her ability to slow down while still being such a young pup. April is still working on potty training and just starting to learn the ways of the world. Watching her explore and take in her surroundings is a joy. April is crate trained and does incredibly well overnight, sleeping 8 hours through without issue. She will need a family who can dedicate the time to training a young puppy.
