Apollo PPP

Meet Apollo! This is one handsome fella! He is just an all around good natured dog. He has been getting along well with both male & female dogs on our play yard and would love a dog buddy! This lovely guy has the most beautiful two different colored eyes. Weighing in at 60 lbs and youthful 2 years old and sweet as can be! Apollo is very active husky mix, looking for his forever home who can keep up with his level of energy. He is a loyal dog who wants to make his people happy. Apollo would gladly spend all day running and playing with his buddies at the pound. He is always happy to see the staff and volunteers and can’t wait for his turn to go on a walk. He passed his kid test with flying colors but seemed a little too interested in cats. Apollo would love to find an active family and if they had another active dog that would be the icing on the cake. He loves his walks and is ready for a real home of his own! Apollo has been selected to participate in Del Norte Humane Society's Prison Paws Partnership (PPP)! PPP is a 6-8 week program of training for the selected dogs and their inmate handlers at Pelican Bay State Prison. The dog participants are available for adoption through the Humane Society at the completion of the program. If you are interested in Apollo, please contact Del Norte Humane Society!
