Apollo / Big boy He is super sweet and after his initial excitement wears off after being freed from the kennel he is calm. He seems to know some basic commands too. Adoption fee includes full vetting: spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, deworming, flea & tick prevention and heartworm test if over 6 months of age. Adoptions of large dogs over 20 lbs. must have a fully fenced-in yard, so they can have ample play off-leash, safely.
For adopters, all pets within the home must be current on heartworm prevention, vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and on flea prevention, as our humane society has put forth all vetting to ensure our adoptable is safe and healthy for your family. In one heartworm-positive pet's kennel, 7 of 10 mosquitoes will be heartworm positive, thus it is important to ensure pets' safety.
