Apollo is a 2 yo neut. male Anatolian Shepherd dog. He is in need of adequate fencing,rural or semi rural home where he will have room to stretch his legs. He enjoys being outdoors,he gets along well with female dogs and small dogs, is good with children. He has NOT been exposed to cats,he likes to go lay out with the goats and cows,he is a property guardian and protects the few livestock he has.He would do great on a hobby type farm,but not a large spread. He is housebroken, healthy and current on his shots.
Apollo is currently in Fowler CO east of Pueblo and is in immediate need of a new home.
He is probably one of the few that can be with geese. We have geese here and he protects them all night along with the ducks, chickens and pullets. He is
very good with birds and his slow movements and calm demeanor is excellent around them. No darting or charging or alerting to them.
It's agreed that he would be happiest in a combo home. He enjoys sprawling out in front of the TV and sleeping during the day. He is in front of the tube
right now. Sleeping paw over nose.
We will assist with transport if possible.
