Apollo

Apollo is a gorgeous black Great Dane with long cropped ears. He is approx. 2 years old. He was adopted from a shelter, then the adopter returned him to a different shelter where he was going to be killed.

Unfortunately this happens a lot when people do not do their research before they adopt a dog. They don't take pet adoption as a serious commitment.

Before you apply to adopt this dog (or any other dog), please research the breed and make sure it's the right one for you and your family. Make sure you can make the commitment to take care of the dog and you are able to provide the dog with all it's needs, including but not limited to: quality food, veterinary care, training, proper bedding and especially lots of love and attention.

Please note: We do adopt outside our area, but we do not ship dogs. If you live out of town or out of state, you must be able to come to Austin for a meet-n-greet and an interview.
