Meet Apollo. This handsome man is about 10 months old, neutered and fully vetted.
He's a bit of a shy boy at first, but warms quickly and loves to be petted and stroked.
Apollo was found running in a farmer's field north of Toronto and was taken to the local shelter. No one ever came to claim him and was abandoned.
He will sit for hours just to have his chin rubbed and told how beautiful he is.
Apollo was obviously not walked on a leash, but is learning and is eager.
He will need a loving family with a house and fenced yard. Another dog in the family would be great as he really gets on well with other canines.
