Apollo

Apollo is oh so sweet, and he's looking for a dog loving family, to show him all this world has to offer. Apollo was originally found in a tree stump as a young pup, feral and abandoned with his siblings. He was placed with a wonderful family who loved him very much but struggled to help him overcome the fear he felt living in a human world that he'd not been exposed to during his critical development period. He was surrendered to our organization for training and socialization and we are SO proud to report this little guy went from cowering, hiding, and unable to walk on a leash to totally crushing life. Apollo LOVES other dogs, and is incredibly playful. Since arriving, Apollo has learned how to walk on a leash, and he's visited all sorts of new places. He even went to the vet and handled his visit like a champ (with the help of his favorite emotional support dog!) He's friendly when he gets to know you but quite shy on initial meeting. There isn't an ounce of bark or bite in him - he just scoots away when strangers approach him too abruptly. Apollo knows his basics, and he's crate trained. He will need a patient, quiet home where he can continue to learn that the human world isn't so scary after all.
