Have you been looking for a big fluffy goofball to add to your family? One that is a certified master splooter, loves to play with friends but can also keep himself entertained, and specializes in affectionate hugs? Look no further, your dreams have come true! Meet Apollo, a 3-4 year old Husky Mix (maybe some Chow) who weighs about 50 pounds. Apollo was initially rescued from a high kill Texas pound back in September and placed in boarding. However Apollo, as well as many other dogs, were abandoned by their rescue at the boarding facility and founds themselves in need of help again. Apollo is a strikingly handsome boy who has been in a foster home where he is flourishing! He gets along with all people and dogs of all sizes and personalities. He is a goofy boy who loves to play, but can also keep himself entertained when his friends are feeling lazy. He is crate trained, potty trained, walks great on the leash, and rides well in the car. Apollo keeps his foster family smiling with his silly personality, but he would love to find a forever family he can bring joy to! While in our care Apollo has been fully vetted, is up to date on vaccines and preventatives, heartworm tested, neutered and microchipped. If you rent your home we require a letter from the landlord submitted with your application granting permission for a pet. A secured fenced yard is preferred and for many of our dogs is required.
