Apollo

Apollo has had it rough prior to landing at Gigi's. Found as a stray very emaciated and taken to one of our partner shelters, he gained some much-needed weight but he's not to his targeted goal yet. Due to his hunger and neglect, he was ingesting whatever he could find...rocks, socks, etc. So, after emergency surgery he's on the road to recovery. He's a social, sweet soul who has been walking nicely on walks, settles quickly indoors and enjoys being with his people. When meeting other dogs, he wasn't fond of pushy, rude dogs and likely do better with calmer dogs after slow introductions. Apollo has the looks and disposition of a Labrador Retriever mix, however without a DNA test we can't confirm what breed(s) he is. He's approximately 10 months old and currently weighs 32 pounds but is underweight still and needs to gain more. Apollo has received their full-service vet care, vaccines, is neutered, pre-adoption behavior support, microchip and more.
