Anya

Anya is a 9 month old beagle mix who was found on the street scrounging for food. In fact, judging from her waste, she had subsisted on mostly dirt and grass for quite awhile. She was very scared and dirty when we found her and she has wounds on her head which look like cigarette burns. She was 21 pounds last week when we found her and is now up to 40 pounds. Anya is very shy now but with good food, gentle handling and a warm bed, we are sure she’ll come around and make some family a wonderful companion
