About Anona: Anona, is a gentle and sweet 1-year-old female lab mix who is searching for a forever home filled with patience and understanding. Anona has had a challenging past that has made her cautious around humans. Despite her shyness, she gets along wonderfully with cats and dogs, finding comfort and companionship in their presence. She would prefer an outgoing dog in the home, as her 2 foster siblings have been helping her make leaps and bounds of progress. Personality: In her foster home, Anona has shown progress in learning to trust humans, though she still has a ways to go. She needs a calm and nurturing environment where she can continue to heal and build confidence at her own pace. Health: Anona has been fully vetted and has no ongoing health issues. What Anona Needs: Anona would thrive in a home with patient individuals who can offer her the time and space she needs to feel safe and secure. We work hard to ensure that our rescues have a supportive family while at foster homes to help them move forward and get ready for their forever home. We work on training, crate-training and socialization before an animal is adopted out. Foster homes are extremely important to the success of the cat at their forever home, and it is extremely rewarding to be able to watch the cats growth as you help them on their journey to their happy ending.
