This pretty girl is Annie, who was turned in by her owner after she was inconsiderate enough to get hit by a car. Annie is very sweet, and we are getting her the care she needs for her leg, which was left untreated by her owners.

Annie is a Carolina dog, an absolutely marvelous breed that is one of the true "American dogs." Typically Carolina dogs are wonderful pets, although they are often mislabeled as "shepherds mixes" by shelters and rescues unfamiliar with this wonderful breed.
