My Story

What a relief to be in from the heat! I was found wandering the roads near the desert and although I was pretty dehydrated, I seemed to be in fairly good shape otherwise except that I was awfully hungry. The nice people who took me in think that I’m about 5 months old. They couldn’t keep me because they already had two other dogs (I got along fine with them), and since I’m still very much a puppy, they felt that I needed a lot more attention than they could give me. I’m a lovely, friendly, red and white hound mix with a black tipped-tail and am just as eager to learn as can be. I already know “sit,” “ok” to let my toys go, respond pretty well to a whistle, and have been crated a few times, so housebreaking me should be a snap. I do need to have someone who has the time to spend both loving and training me, so that I can become a valuable and devoted member of the family.
