My Story

Hey there. I'm awesome Annie!!! What a beautiful girl I am. Sorry, I don't mean to brag too much but I'm such a special gal. I am a Pure Bred Bernese Mountain Dog & am soooo gorgeous. I'm a very gentle soul & a big sweetheart who is looking for Love. I want to share my life with someone who has lots of time to spend with me & who has lots of space for me to run & play safely. That's not too much to ask for. A doggie brother or sister would be great too. I'm a good girl & deserve the very best. I'm 16 months old & get along great with dogs, cats, puppies, kids, adults, etc.. I love them all. They're really fun to play with. The family who has raised me from birth, unfortunately had to move & could no longer keep me. So I was surrendered to Heaven's Lil Angels Animal Sanctuary, Inc. Adoption requires a home visit if possible, vet reference, personal reference, signed adoption contract & a Non-Refundable adoption fee which includes ALL of the following: vaccinations up to date (7-way, Bordetella & Rabies), wormed, giardia tested, bathed/groomed, pedicure, SPAY, Heartworm Tested "Positive" (unfortunately), Heartworm Treatments, housetrained, crate-trained, leash trained, & a Huge Housewarming Basket filled with toys, snacks, leash, collar, bowls, blankie, etc. They pack the good stuff!!! Yes, you read it right....I tested Heartworm postive, so I now have to begin the treatment to take care of the Heartworms. It consists of a few injections (outpatient, just like a vaccination) & I'm not supposed to be allowed to play too much until they're completed. It usually is completed in 2 months & then hopefully & praying everything can go back to normal. Then they'll let me be a spunky big puppy again. Thank God they caught it in time because I wasn't even showing any signs of the heartworms. If only people would give their pets (dogs AND cats) a Heartworm preventative each month, this would not happen!!!!!! It's soooooo easy to prevent!!! Just give'em the pill. Please spread the word about the importance of a monthly Heartworm Preventative. Would you want worms growing in your heart??!!!! I didn't think so. Please call 740-596-8254 today & leave a message, name & tele# & name of pet you are interested in. I am being fostered in an awesome home in Northern Ohio. Due to the major expenses incurred with the treatments, etc. plus the spay, tests, etc. the adoption fee is $950.00. If you cannot adopt me, would you be so graciously interested in donating even the smallest amount toward my vet expenses? Every penny counts. I'm honestly worth it. God will Bless You as he always does!! Thanks for taking the time to read my story. Life is grand! Live your life to the fullest!
