Annette

Annette is a beautiful 5-7 year old petite (~40 lbs) red & white basset with fine fur and soulful brown eyes. She is intelligent, gentle, and highly affectionate, and will follow her foster parents from room to room just to be around them. She is a basset's basset - happy to lie next to you and snuggle, and equally delighted to go for a walk. She gets along very well with her foster siblings and if they're not up for playing, she has no trouble entertaining herself with a toy, tossing it up into the air and giving it the occasional bark. One of Annette's most adorable traits is she likes to sleep with her tongue hanging just out of her mouth. She's gentle with children and with adults of all types. She would love a nice big yard where she can play during the day and chase around squirrels and birds. She's not a big fan of cats (or rather, she's a HUGE fan of wildly chasing cats, so would do best in a cat-free home.) Annette is spayed, housetrained, and crate trained, and is ready to find her forever family - a family that will be truly blessed by this little girl.
