Meet Angus, affectionately known as Gus! This adorable terrier mix was born in late May 2024 & currently weighs in at 9 lbs, with tiny paws that suggest he’ll stay on the smaller side. Gus was surrendered to us after his previous owner's wife passed away & he wasn't prepared to care for a puppy. Despite his rough start, Gus has quickly adapted to his new life. He’s now updated on vaccines, microchipped, & will be scheduled for his neuter procedure when he turns 6 months old. Gus is a bundle of joy—playful, feisty & full of personality. He’s very affectionate & loves being held, with a small but mighty presence that makes him an endearing companion. He’s great with kids, although he might jump up a bit in his excitement. With other dogs, Gus was initially a bit shy due to their size, but he’s since warmed up & enjoys playing with them. He’s a high-energy puppy but also knows how to relax and nap quickly. Gus loves being around people & will happily lay by your feet or follow you around. He’s already learned how to sit & is friendly with everyone he meets. Gus sleeps well in his kennel, adjusting quickly to new routines & showing progress with potty training. Given his young age, Gus will need a home where he won’t be left alone for extended periods. The adoption fee for puppies covers initial deworming, puppy vaccinations, microchip, and spay/neuter at the rescue's approved vet at 6 months of age.
