My Story

Please, do not tell little Angie she is twelve years old.  She has no idea. The attached pictures show Angie running across the yard to see her foster mom.  Angie is a 12 year, black/tan (with senor gray), female, chihuahua, who weighs seven pounds.  This tiny little girl was rescued from a shelter when she got sick with upper respiratory in the shelter and was not improving.  Angie’s only hope to survive was going to rescue.  How could you leave this precious face behind.  She was deemed unadoptable by the shelter, and Rescued Hearts Sarasota brought her in.  This sweet girl is a tiny body with a huge personality.  Her tail never stops wagging and so far, she has responded well to the antibiotics in her foster home.  She still has a cough, but she loves to eat, especially canned food, and is thriving.  She truly lights up any room. Angie is maintenance free, easy going, quiet, social and a very happy girl.  She has already had a dental and is ready for her forever home.  Seriously, love this little girl.  Her nails are so long they have actually curled up and not down.  We have scheduled a vet visit to have these taken care of and to do an exam to make sure her lungs are clear.  We have some dear friends out there who love the tiny, chi girls …….. you know who you are.  Angie is waiting for you.   Adoption fee $200
