My Story

**Please read Angelina Washington's entire profile, which includes a link to the adoption application at the end. Thank you!** Meet The WASHINGTON Litter - Capone (M), Penelope (F), Angelina (F), Meredith (F) and Betty Davis (F). These paw-litical pups were found as strays and are now ready to find their forever family! They are Husky mixes, who are about 19 weeks old and weigh 33 pounds (as of 7/19/24). Her new local foster mom shares "Angelina is definitely coming out of her shell, she was original very timid and startles easily. But now she is starting to understand the joys of exploring - even on a recent trip to Bass Pro Shop! She stayed near by her humans but also did well seeing the people around, the noise, and all the new sights and sounds. She LOVES the safety of her crate and will let herself into it periodically. When Angelina is outside she is bolder and adventurous, she gets the major zoomies and wants nothing more than to be right with people! When she is in the house she is more nervous, but I can already see progress just in our short time together (it has only been a few days after all - poor thing she has no idea how good life is going to get). She loves her foster brother Jerry and plays gently with him. She loves to follow her big foster sister pixy and is getting a much needed confidence boost from her. She is eager to get your attention and is a huge cuddle bug!! Angelina is very smart and is a fast learner. So far no accidents in the crate and only one in the house. She is going to blossom each day we know, and will be the most wonderful pup!" The southern foster for the litter had originally shared: "These cuties are adorable nuggets of love, puppy breathe and fluffy goodness! These angels were left on their own and they have blossomed in foster care. They love making new human friends and ADORE children! They love playing with other dogs and then snuggling for a nap. They are outgoing, friendly, very loving and active. They would do great in a home where they get to be a part of a loving family. Just like any puppy, they will need a family who is committed to training. Don't miss your chance to be part of history - and adopt a Washington pup today!" All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be. To adopt or learn more about Angelina Washington, you must fill out an adoption application. To find the application, copy and paste this URL into your browser: WWW.GDRNE.COM/ADOPTION-APPLICATION [Adoption Fee: $575] ** PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works. Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted. To learn more about our *shelterless* rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of Frequently Asked Questions on our website at WWW.GDRNE.COM.
