Per volunteer 7/21/24: 7/21/24 volunteer notes: Angelica was lying in her kennel and allowed me to leash her. She calmly walked out of her kennel without issue. She immediately went to the bathroom once she got outside, so she appears housetrained. Angelica was timid and a little shy at first, but she quickly warms-up. Angelica seemed to only seek comfort. Once I got down to her level, she immediately placed her chin on my lap. She did all she could to get close to me. She leaned in against me and enjoyed pets all over. She rolled onto her back for belly scratches. Angelica didn't seem too interested in other dogs and preferred to remain near and receive a lot more attention. Angelica was calm and docile the entire time I had her out. Whenever I offered her a treat, she took it gently. I had no problem returning this sweet girl back to her kennel.
