Hi, My name is Angel! Here is a little about me. I am super playful and quirky and get the zoomies! I absolutely love other dogs! So, a home with a dog friend would be amazing! I am really smart and learn quickly! Treats are a surefire way to my heart, especially chicken! I love all toys especially ropes and squeakers! I have learned sit and lay down so far. I am potty trained, and I am also kennel trained and sleep well in it when it's time but prefer to sleep in the bed at night! When it is time to relax, I will snuggle with you on the couch! I am still learning to fully trust people. It takes me a while to get used to new things, people and sounds. But I am the best girl once I open up! I will need a family that can give me the time I need to learn the world isn't a bad place. Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue in Arkansas. We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI. Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue. Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee. At that time, we will stop accepting applications. The entire adoption fee must be paid prior to the transport in order to ensure your new baby has a spot on the transport.
