As noted, Angel is coming to us as an owner surrender; we anticipate this to be a big transition her since she’s used to doing what she does. Angel is timid in new situations but seems to warm up quickly. She will benefit from training to help form a bond with her new owner and ease the transition in a positive way. Patience and routine will help Angel thrive.
In her previous home she was known to be potty trained, medium energy, and good with the grandkids. She currently is allowed to free roam but we would expect her to be kennel trained through the transition for her safety. Additionally, we know Angel will take time to transition and we believe she will do best in a home with older kids who can read and respond to her body language.
We believe Angel may enjoy (and benefit from) a walking buddy or regular exercise routine. She is currently over 30 pounds but should be under 30. It also seems that Angel will benefit from having another dog in the house to help her transition and continue to gain confidence. With that, we always recommend slow and proper introductions.
We cannot guarantee that Angel doesn’t bark often and we know that this will be an adjustment for her and is going to take time. We do know that Angel is a fun-loving, low rider who will make any house a home. If you’re ready to give Angel her FOREVER home, apply today!
