My Story

Meet the "Stadium Puppies", born approx. June 1st, 2024 to a feral / stray mama (see last pic). You can read about me first, then hear about our whole litter at the bottom of the post. :) ANGEL Hi everyone! I'm Angel, and I'm the only blonde/brindle puppy in the litter. I'm one of the smaller puppies, at approx. 9 lbs. as of mid-July. I had such a scary start to life and was hit by a car when volunteers tried to catch all of us! I was taken to the vet to get x-rays and ensure we understood what was needed to take care of me - thank goodness I was OK, with nothing broken or punctured. The vet said I had a dislocated back leg, but will heal super fast because I am young and bones are still very soft for healing. I was very shy, but I have been placed in foster with the smallest sister of my litter (Madison) to help me gain confidence but not get slammed around by my playful brothers. I have healed up now, and am with the rest of the litter and man... did I gain confidence! I'm a happy guy, and the first to make a ruckus when a new noise is heard. Like my siblings, I'm doing really well with potty training and I insist on going outside on the grass. I just look up and wait for my foster to realize I need to go. :) I am very cuddly! Apply for me today! I'd love to have a family of my own. THE WHOLE LITTER STORY We were rescued from a sports stadium, where mama had taken us to be safe while she had birth and nursed us for approx. 6 -8 weeks. Our rescue team at PRDF has had us all since (and mama will be trapped and spayed), and are socializing us and taking care of our minor skin issues suffered while in the wild. We are a GREAT litter of puppies (there are 7 of us - 5 boys and 2 girls!) - we play, romp, cuddle like champs, and push our way in for our turn at cuddles with the volunteer team - and we cannot wait to meet our adoptive families. Due to timing of our vet visits for our puppy shots and preventative medication (NexGard and HeartGard), we won't be available to travel to our adoptive homes until after Aug. 5th. At that time, we are safe to travel and explore the world! We will be an estimated 9 weeks old on that date (according the vet's best guess). Our homes will be chosen before we leave the island, so apply today - your adoption fee covers our flight to an airport as close as we can get to your location , through our volunteer flyer network. Thanks for reading our story. :)
