Andy, an estimated 9wk old male (DOB May 2024), Retriever/Pitbull mix saved off the streets of Houston with his momma and siblings. We expect this litter to be a medium to larger breed family; Mom is a Pitbull mix. The family is currently in a foster home in Houston, TEXAS and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! Meet Andy! This super sweet handsome boy is absolutely adorable!!! Andy is one of six boys and one girl. This boy loves attention and knows he's a cutie pie! Andy has soft fur beautiful blue eyes and a nice personality. He is a smart boy and plays well with his littermates. Andy enjoys playing with all kinds of toys by himself or with his siblings. Andy may be one of the smaller boys in the group but he keeps up with the bigger boys. This handsome boy will warm your heart and keep a smile on your face. Andy is still young, so he will need a family that can commit to training. socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy when he's old enough. He'll be perfect for walks hikes, and letting you know someone is at the door. You wont want to miss out on this fabulous little boy who is waiting for his forever home Andy has not been around cats or kids. We always recommend a home with kids who respect and understand animal boundaries. For younger kids, we expect parents who will supervise and help teach appropriate animal manners. Andy is looking for a home who has an understanding of raising puppies into adulthood. This can be prior experience or someone who will seek support as needed (training, friends/family). Puppies bring so much joy, but also need intentional and committed attention. They need help socializing with new people, other dogs, leash work and basic obedience. Puppies under 6 months of age are placed on a spay/neuter contract until they are old enough to be altered. For puppies this age, someone needs to be home more than they are away as crating them for long periods of time is not conducive for their developmental needs. If you work outside of the home longer than 4 hours, please explain who will is available to spend time with this puppy while you are aware. If that information is not included, we will not consider your application. ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown.
